Professional Membership

To be eligible for Professional Membership in the OWA, you must have one or more planted vineyard acres or be an owner, operator, or have a significant financial investment in a bonded, commercial Oregon winery.

As a Professional member of the OWA, you will be able to enjoy the following benefits:

  • Advocacy before state and federal legislatures and agencies on issues critical to the industry, like direct shipment, land use, immigrant farm labor, favorable tax rates, export marketing, labeling and regulatory rules, and funding for viticultural and enological research.
  • The power of a collective voice. We believe that the most effective and efficient means for our industry to educate and influence our legislature is through a centralized organization.
  • Professional lobbying and legal services at rates not available to individual businesses. This includes member access to legal counsel for queries on licensing, business establishment, trademarking and local land use.
  • Free subscription to our weekly e-WineBulletin, keeping you updated on national and local industry news, as well as notifying you of opportunities available for your participation.
  • Access to the OWA’s list of preferred vendors that serve our industry.
  • Have your business listed on our website, along with a link to your own website.

Please note that our membership year runs from January 1 - December 31.   If you join between June and October, please calculate your dues at 50% the usual rate, and you will be invoiced in December for the following year's dues.  If you join in November or December, please pay the regular rate, and your membership will be good until December 31st of the next year.
