The Gaia sculptural show returns to Saffron Fields Vineyard this summer with Gaia 2023: Forged With Flame. The show highlights work from three Pacific northwest artists, each using fire or flame as an element of their craft. If you’re looking for a way to combine culture and world-class art with the sensual pleasures of fine wine the upcoming showing may be the summer wine-destination event for you. Set amidst the stunning Japanese gardens of Saffron Fields Vineyard, and the art and architecture of their Willamette Valley tasting room, the show brings together the large-form ceramic sculpture of Katy McFadden, the powerful wood techniques of Rick Crawford and the forged and fabricated metal forms of Phil Seder.
The show will run through the months of August and September.
