Raise a Glass wine class at Arden

About this Event

Join Kelsey Glasser, sommelier and owner of Arden restaurant, for a series of interactive, in person wine classes designed to arm you with the tools to enjoy wine with confidence. “Raise a Glass with Kelsey Glasser: Demystifying Wine, One Glass at a Time” will feature four weekly in person classes, hosted at Arden every Sunday in May, exploring tasting, pairing, making, and finding wine. After launching virtual wine education in 2020, Glasser now prepares to host a weekly in person gathering to talk wine “shop”, and teach students how to deploy their wine knowledge in the world, practically, whether you’re ordering a bottle at a restaurant, or planning the perfect menu pairings. For special classes, Glasser will be joined by experts in the wine industry, including Flor Wines co-owner Sergio Licea and Flaneur Wines and Hundred Suns winemaker Grant Coulter.

Coinciding with and celebrating Oregon Wine Month this May, the series offers fundamental skills to speak the language of wine in a stress free, no judgment space, but also offers practical tips to navigate buying and pairing wine with confidence. Each class is 90 minutes long, hosted at Arden restaurant in Portland’s Pearl District, and will include a wine flight, snacks, and instruction. Select the class that speaks most to you and that will help build your own individual wine knowledge, or purchase all four for variety and maximum education. Classes will be $55 per person for an individual class, and $200 per person for the entire four class bundle. Tickets are available now, visit this link to book.
