As Oregon’s oldest estate winery and the birthplace of Oregon Pinot Noir, we have shared in the creation of what is “Oregon Wine.”  Founded by in 1961 the “Father of Oregon Wine”, Richard Sommer, we continue today to innovate and lead the way into the next generation. We invite you to come and experience our gracious and guided tasting.  Our family’s wines are not sold in stores. Umpqua's only  five star Trip Advisor tasting as well as the PNW only winery thaty is a state historical site. Open daily for tastings 11-5. To the Genie in the bottle!
