About

Founded in 2007, Maison Bleue is dedicated to the production of terroir-driven wines from the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA focused primarily on Rhône varietals such as Syrah, Grenache and Viognier. Our Maison Bleue Estate Vineyard was planted in 2018 with 15-acres of Syrah, Grenache and Viognier. It is located at the entrance to the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater AVA and sits at one of the higher elevations to minimize frost damage. The site also features some of the largest stones in the appellation, because it was in the center of the path of the Walla Walla River where the water was moving the swiftest to leave these large deposits. We source from some of the highest-quality neighboring vineyards and will harvest our first crop from our estate in 2020.
