About

Our ambition is to create appellation-focused wines that display the remarkable attributes of the Dundee Hills AVA. We find this area very special as the diverse terroir, unique topographical features, and ancient red volcanic Jory soils are incredible qualities for grape growing. Our highly respected French winemaker, Isabelle Dutartre, truly embraces what mother nature offers. With over 40 years of experience, her lifelong passion and dedication to winemaking are expressed in our beautifully balanced, nuanced wines. Age-worthy Rich Pinot Noir, Balanced Chardonnay, Elegant Sparkling (Traditionalle Methode), and Vibrant Rosé wines have been a part of our wine-making endeavors since 2013. The Armstrong Vineyard was planted in 1998 and situated above The Eyrie Vineyard, the first Pinot Noir vines planted in Oregon by David and Diana Lett. These deep-rooted vines are positioned south at 430 feet. The Royal Potcake Vineyard is on a north-facing slope located off Worden Hill Road with a similar elevation. This vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Our name, Potcake, is inspired by our love for the indigenous dogs of the Bahamas Islands. Our Potcake Story and Rescues are shared through our wines, which have saved many lives. Visit our website for details on how we help these Potcakes and learn more about the breed.
