        "listing_about": "Springhill Cellars Winery is a small, family-owned winery specializing in Pinot noir, Pinot gris and variations thereon, including a saign\u00e9e (a pre-fermentation bleed of Pinot noir, fermented in oak), a rose', and a Port-style Pinot.  Established in 1988, we have kept our production low and have won numerous awards and accolades. We are located on Springhill, which is a 520' high hill located north just across the Willamette from Albany. We also source fruit from McLain Vineyards, our 12-acre vineyard north of Salem in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. The home vineyard is Willakenzie type soil and McLain Vineyard is Nekia-so, sedimentary and volcanic. We now serve \"small plate\" foods in the tasting room for picnics lounging with an incredible views of Mary's Peak and the McDonald Forest.
